Yamaha CR-2020

Hopelessly classy.
Bigger sibling to the CR-1020 bestseller and bestseller itself, the 2020 nevertheless was the small sibling of the CR-3020.
The latter didn't sell so well so the CR-2020 can be seen as the right combination of high, wide, good & beautiful without being overdone.
Added from the CR-1020 are a an IC-based MC stage, 2-step turnover tone controls, 2-step FM muting, a 4-gang volume attenuator, three more discrete LEDs for FM Blend / Tone / Muting functions and more power with just as little distortion.
I won't bother with technical descriptions here : the CR-2020 is part of those few components one can buy eyes closed and which, just by looking at it (eyes opened), brings its period back, intact and unharmed by time - colors and flared trousers included.
