Sony SS-4300

Sony SS-4300

Postby Lencoloony » Mon Jan 10, 2011 7:25 am

Hi everyone. My first post as a knobber and I'm keen to find out more about these Sony speakers I found the other day. They are SS-4300 with two tweeters, an 8 inch driver and what looks like a complementary 8 inch passive drive as well. Don't know anything more about them other than what's on the back of the speakers. Does anyone know these dudes and if they are regarded as good? They have been added to my collection of speakers including Kef, Leak sandwiches, Genesis Physics 10, EPI 100vs, JBL Decade 26s, Usher 625 and the Allison6 cubes. Will the Sony SS-4300 stand up to this rather neat collection?!

Cheers.

Hi. I have some good images of the speakers but can't copy them to this forum. Can someone let me know how to upload them?

Cheers.

Love the look of them. I have a pair of SS 4050 carbocons, They have a ten inch woofer and a 3 1/2 inch tweeter like yours and a paper cone 1 1/2 inch tweet on the top. I actually posted some pictures in the train spotting forum by mistake if you want to have a look.
Go Sony!
