Teac V-90R

Teac V-R2

1 9 8 1 1981
1 9 8 3 1983

Fairly forgotten recorder from the time Teac really started multiplying lineups and recorders for the most part based on Alpine mechanisms.
Also from the brief time Teac made worthwhile efforts on design, color and texture.

The V-90R, V-R2 in Japan, is a V-95RX sans dbx, sans CPS programming and sans auto-fader.

The rest is the same : fully-DC amp section with a ±12 V bipolar power supply, auto-reverse from the same three-motor mechanism, with Block repeat, and, mostly, most visibly, Positouch control pads.
