Sony PS-3300

1 9 7 7 1977
1 9 7 8 1978

The PS-3300 was an export-only model and a sort of mix between the japanese PS-2800 (base structure) and PS-3700 (pitch controls and stroboscope).

If I believe the german catalog these images come from, it seems the specifications are also in the middle between the cute 2800 and big 3700...
All three had an SBMC base and the "lunar platter" which is said to have little air-filled pads to dampen the record's vibrations...

The rest is very much like any other 1976-1978 Sony turntable : DC-Servo BSL motor (of the old & tall kind), X-Tal Lock + Magnedisc and SBMC base.
The fixed tonearm was also seen in many other contemporary Sony vinyl spinners.

Great looks and reliable operation.
