Sansui SP-300

From when Sansui yet had to reach its 1975-1978 sales and visibility peak and made multi-multi-driver firesquad loudspeakers... like everybody else.

The SP-300 was however a serious 52kg biggie :
The 30cm bass driver is powered by eight magnets, the horn-loaded midrange a duralumin diaphragm and the horn-loaded tweeters are... two.

The non-core network uses a sharp 12dB/octave slope and has 3-position tap-type controls to avoid series-connected resistors for better damping.

The bass-reflex is of the pipe-duct type which lower the f0 resonance frequency and 25mm glass wool is present elsewhere.

Plus the walnut venerr and hand-carved fretwork grill : "real luxury in both sight and sound".
