After the many 1980-1982 prototypes, Sansui entered the digital replay age with the PC-V1000...
...although it spent more time and advertising on its PC-X1 Tricode PCM adaptor.
I have no idea which OEM the PC-V1000 was based upon : NEC ? Kyocera ? Diatone ?
A very rare item if there ever was one : I have only seen it in one ad in Germany, october 1983 and it seems to have sold not at all.
