This page was made possible with the help of Primare's and Bow Technologies' founder :
Bo Christensen.

The Little 16 and Big 49 lousdpeakers were designed just before Mr Christensen left Primare, to complement the 200 Series ; they were produced in very small numbers : fifty pairs of each.

Both models share the same basic design :
3,2cm ceramic tweeters with high power-handling and low resonance frequency sourced from Thiel/Accuton, two 2-layer Kevlar mid/bass drivers from Eton, simple crossovers with only select parts, 7-layer MDF front baffle and extensive enclosure bracing.

The Little 16 has two 16,5cm woofers ; the Big 49 upps them to 20cm.
The back-firing woofer has an oversized magnet and is mechanically coupled to the front driver for linear power transfer.
The dedicated stands are made of black-lacquered MDF and can be filled with sand or shot. Or not.

Mr Christensen still uses his Little 16 pair today and "they will beat almost anything I put them up against".
