Little Pioneer that "fills a growing need among stereo fans".

With a retractable pinch roller, an auto-reverse function (by way of the addition of a sensing foil anywhere on the tape), the Pioneer T-6100 was "built to professional quality standards" and "designed with quality features".

But "priced to fit most any equipment budget".

Other features :
3-heads, center capstan drive, 19 & 9,5cm/s speeds, NAB eq, hysteresis synchronous motor, all silicon solid-state, twin-meters, pause lever, auto shut-off at tape end, 4-digit counter.

There also was a later RT-61 version in Japan, with a black sub-panel, seemingly equivalent to the T-6100.
