preliminary

Like the previous image, this is from one of Pioneer's early 1980s staple worldwide 5-page ads : it says something on one double page but if you flip the left page, the three-page result gives the punch line - and details.
So the home image is here changed to a lab image by just changing left sides.

This is a 1980 USA ad, found in an AUDIO issue - I must have spent several hours cleaning the bad printing quality, the tears and skewed geometric correspondancs between pages. I know the result is far from being perfect but you should have seen what I started with !

From a 1980 german catalog which shows the very elegant styling better than the ads did - for once !

Not my scan, alas, and I never did find that catalog myself.

From a january 1980 AUDIO (USA) 2-page and a half review of the PL-630.

The pitch control pot (top right) is an ALPS.

Not a PLC-590 but we're still in very healthy neighborhood.

Spring loads and ball bearings.
