Pioneer PL-530
Pioneer PL-A500S
Pioneer PL-530X
Elegant and wide record player with a direct-drive Hall-effect motor and a separate motor for the tonearm wrapped up in attractive look-at-me woody looks.
Available originally in Japan as PL-A500S (same but matte grey base) and later on, 1977/78, with a more mysterious tag (PL-530X, same but black base).
The motor and specifications are equivalent to any of the previous mi-end players such as the PL-510A, with a darwinistic uplift in s/n ratio : 70dB.
