Marantz Sm-8

Part of the third batch of ESOTEC... naturally not named as such anymore... and introduced a bit after the Pm-6a.

The Quarter A was a novelty to try and have the best both worlds while the Heat-Pipe cooling system was a way of making it a little lighter to build.

The Quarter A scheme steps in after the first 60W (2x 30W) which are thus in Class A.

The caps assembly and transformer would be carried into the PM-84.

An amplifier which sold very well and was often used as part of multi-amped systems ; the wood enclosure was Japan-only, unfortunately but previsibly.
