Marantz Model 6370Q

1 9 7 8 1978
1 9 8 0 1980

A rare 'table with very nice and tacky "end-of-an-era" looks.

Mingling together are a walnut veneer, some square buttons and a digital display.

The tonearm's oil-damping function is user-adjustable, with a little ring atop the pivot, a receptacle for oil and a half-ball whose height adjusts the amount of damping.

The total was made by either CEC, Fujiya Audio or any of the Korean OEM/ODM providers.

The tonearm, however, was made by Sumiko, a model still available today under the Jelco name (and, through Jelco, a million others).
