Old-school high-fidelity from when Superscope owner already was in financial trouble but nevetheless still had californian Marantz and japanese SRC subsidiaries design sane components producing sane WATTS : when 2x 52W felt like 2x 520W.
DC symmetrical SEPP output with one big trafo, two big caps, four pairs of Marantz-tagged bipolar transistors (A753 / C1343) mounted on big heatsinks - the word is big, yes ?
Also Gyro-geared PLL MPX dual-gate MOS-Fet 4-gang tuner section (3 for FM) with 200Khz ceramic filters and Baxandall triple L/R tone controls.
Feature-packed indeed for 1977.
