First component launched to celebrate Luxman's 50th anniversary in 1975 and part of the very best components produced during hi-fi's peak decade.

Despite a very consequent price, the L-100 sold very well : it is beautiful, feature-packed, sounds wonderful and is very reliable. What more could one ask ?

The L-100 gave way to several variants : L-110 (integrated), C-1000 & C-1010 (pre) and M-2000 (power) and also gave its entire phono stage to the C-1000.

The L-100U seems to be the USA export version but I have no info regarding actual differences - if any.

Read Zeljko Nastasic's description (the "user" button) for the detailed details, circuit-wise.
