Luxman Luxkit A3600

High-end triode power amplifier representing Luxman's heyday in the mid 1970s which quite probably existed in fifty slightly different versions and also had a LUXKIT equivalent named, for once, identically.

Although fully identical, the Luxman version fetches slightly higher prices, maybe because it was "customed by Lux Corporation" instead of being "built by Luxkit Corporation"...

8045G power triodes
Specially developped in collaboration with NEC.
In Class B, the power dissipated on the plate can amount to 60W at 1Khz, thanks to its structure and high heat-dissipation metal.

Push-pull stage
Made of two 8045G triodes on which a negative feedback loop is applied.

Differential amplifier
Its first stage uses a 6240G double-triode ; the second stage, DC-coupled with the first, gives an out-of-phase signal which is sent to the driver stage.

Power-supply section
One Luxman S-2007 power transformer with two windings, followed by two bridge rectifiers, one low-resistance C2006 choke self plus 3x 47µF, 3x 470µF and 3x 100µF capacitors.

Output transformers
Two Luxman OY-15.

After you have adjusted the input level with the two input pots at the back, then... wonderful music musically reaches your ears.
And you only need one A3600 for the latter is a stereo unit.
