JBL loudspeakers are well known even if some JBL loudspeakers are not so well known, even if, in fact, they are well known.
The L45 is part of those : as such fairly forgotten but it nevertheless was and still is a more power-capable... L100 !
The latter (and its 1002 versions) I'm sure everybody knows :)
As said by JBL in the L45 Flair leaflet :
"Was it possible to get even more of that same great sound but with higher overall efficiency and more powerful handling capacity ? Could JBL build a super L100 ? Our engineers' reply was an emphatic "YES !"
