A truly rare rarity, the result of a 3-year effort at making a luxurious, rosewodd-embedded, high-end receiver incorporating Harman/Kardon's traditional high points like dual transformers, very strict square-wave response and ample power reserve to drive you and your neighbours deaf in a jiffy.
Also in a 4-Channel output for "future FM quadraphonic brodcasts" and a thre-frequency tone control.
With a nice design tweak taking shape of the duplicated dialing scale and... and... feather-touch source selectors !
This obviously was a (very) limited edition and the actual production run remains a mystery. However, given the launch date (july 1977) the Citation Receiver should already be into the Beatrice Food ownership / Shin Shirasuna production.
Anybody ?
The images shwon here were kindly sent to me years ago by... by... Although I have kept all TVK eMail correspondance since 2003, I surprisingly don't have a trace of whom it was !
