20bit Lambda D/A scheme with 8fs, dual-DACs & dual-mono layout, XLR outputs, a doubled and copper-plated chassis, BMC base and twin transformers already amounted to a 20kg bolid.

The worldwide DCD-3520 and DCD-3520EX are equivalent to the original japanese DCD-3500 and DCD-3500G.

Replaced after many many sales by the DCD-3500GL.
