Early Clarion design compact compact 8-track player/recorder & amplifier - with a strong name : Machinegun 300 !

It was made of a gun (HA-204) and two bullets (SKA-031) ; 300 is an exaggeration of the power output which stands at 30W.

With 45,6cm in width and 17kg with the speakers, despite what the image implies, the Machinegun wasn't too portable but no tripod ws necessary to start firing tracks.

The 8-track player allows recording and mixing with the microphone inputs and four-program selection.

Clarion made a few of these sets between the late 1960s and the UFO series in 1977 and had them always well designed to fit the (assumed) trend of the moment.
