Akai 4000D
"An ideal accessory for ypur high-fidelity musical installation - new !"
Bar the one-micron-gap heads and minor visual redesigns, the 4000D is about the same as a 3000D but the name of the latter wasn't right : "4000" it had to be.
And it works for Akai sold millions of 4000-tagged recorders, up to the last and and ultimate GX-4000D in 1978.
