Part of Accuphase's original components : Accuphase then still was KENSONIC, and Accuphase was only a "series"...

Series being the proper word since the P-300 saw quite a few versions throughout the 1970s and 1980s :
P-300S (september 1977),
P-300X (june 1980),
P-300L (june 1984),
P-300V (july 1987).

Part of Kensonic's bestselling components, those which allowed that little brand to remain the last standing on its own feet nearly fourty years after the fact.
