JVC A-X77
(1981 - 1983)

Already the beginning of the end but still valiant, the A-X77 was the smaller replacement of the much bigger A-X9 from 1979.

Victor Company of Japan, a MAJOR and most respected brand, managed to make affordable high-end separates and have their technologies filter down the lesser units such as the A-X77.

Interesting designs, too, boasting the Super-A system - still healthy gear, whatever the technoid acronyms.
