Model 20 Non-japanese trouble-free high-end is rare... but SME did it ! Not
exactly cheap but quality has a price, especially long-lasting quality.
The original Model 20 (here shown) gave way to the Model
20/2 and more recently to the Model
20/12 which HiFi Choice reviewed in 1999.
Educated and reasonable (super) high-end - pity most of us can only
dream of ever using one, at home, to play and replay those precious
LPs we cherish. (but why oh why should boring black ash be the colour of choice? I don't mean the usual ugly mix of silver and gold but something else... anything!) |
