Sony TA-4300F
(july 1970 - 1976)

Follower and somewhat more flexible version of the original TA-4300 (january 1966), the TA-4300F sold very well and prefigured Sony's later successes with active filters (pre-Esprit TA-D88 and ESPRIT TA-D900) which all sold far better than Pioneer's or Accuphase' own filters. It should be remembered that Sony was the FIRST to offer multi-amped and actively filtered components and loudspeakers in 1965 !

The main advance in flexibility takes shape of easily accessible and extended dual crossover frequencies - the original TA-4300 had those tucked inside.
The bass-boost and bass-shift circuits were maintained but a low-frequency center channel output and 4-Channel compatibility by way of a DIN adaptor were added in view of the upcoming succes of Quad surround sound - one could still believe in it in 1971.

A very successful filter which sold as well as the original 1965 ES components did: TA-2000, TA-3120A, TA-1120A, ST-5000F, STR-6060F, TC-777-S2 and S4, PS-2000 and TTS-3000.
