TA-D900
(march 1981 - 1987)

ELECTRONIC CROSSOVER NETWORK
Updated version of the earlier and already very very successful TA-D88, the TA-D900 mainly added a "bass-boost" switchable circuit, a supplementary module to handle to very low frequencies and a glass top plate but did keep the steep 24dB/octave filter slope.

Contrary to what is believed, the TA-D900 isn't the rarest of all ESPRIT units and, along the TA-N900 monoblock, it probably is the most common, as used in many a japanese high-end rig, distributing music to many a high-efficiency JBL or Altec stack. And good enough to remain available as late as 1987 and still be tagged "Exciting Product" by Stereo Sound the same year !
