Pioneer's CD Meisterwerk.

Available originally in Japan under the PD-T09 name and in the USA as a PD-S95 under the ELITE tag (but without the shiny Urushi finish). Fully non-resonant chassis, Stable Platter mechanism, Legato Linear converters, copper all over and more - last call for lavish japanese high-end.
It should be noted, however, that the pre-production samples were built to even more exacting standards : aluminium slabs instead of pressed metal...

Nisi's and audio-heritage in Japan - the nicely detailed images shown there were unfortunately scrapped from the US literature I have :(
