The CD mechanisms in Marantz CD players

So here are the CDM versions used in most Marantz CD players between 1982 and 2000 (plus several
Philips and one Studer), as well as the d/a section for same.
The lens, optical formulations & coatings in all of Philips' big CDMs were originally designed by
Rodenstock in Germany, on Philips' specifications. Manufacturing was done at Philips' facilities in
Belgium, with actual production gradually shifting to Asia at the time of the CDM-4's later versions.

Given the astounding number of manufacturers which used the Philips CD drives... this is only for Marantz !
