Luxman R-820
(1974 - 1975)

Healthy AM/FM receiver with a 4-gang front end, symmetrical p-p and OCL output, NF tone controls, three pairs of speaker terminals, a beefy transformer with two primaries and no less than six fuses inside !
Very good-looking (better than the image above) and seemingly available under the R-800 moniker as well but with no differences other than said moniker... Just like Sony, Luxman never did make many receivers for Japan, by and large, is the country of separated elements.

An optional 4-channel adaptor was available to give the classy walnut enclosure some of the hip 1974 frills.
