Luxman R-820
(1974 - 1975)

Healthy AM/FM/MW/LW receiver with a 4-gang front end, symmetrical p-p and OCL output, NF tone controls, three pairs of speaker terminals, a beefy transformer with two primaries and no less than six fuses inside !
Very good-looking (better than the image above) and seemingly available under the R-800 moniker as well but with no differences other than said moniker and substraction of the MW and LW receiving wavelengths.
Just like Sony, Luxman never did make many receivers : Japan, by and large, is the country of separated elements.

An optional 4-channel adaptor was available to give the classy walnut enclosure some of the hip 1974 frills.
