Luxman
C-5000A
(1979 - 1981+)
Luxman's
most expensive preamp of the "classic" years that was
to
be mated with the updated M-4000A.
Super-gear
with ultimate looks and build quality, strangely only briefly available
and very quickly replaced by the C-300
& M-300
combo...
Increasingly present in the Luxman manufacturing processes, the upcoming Alpine owner probably didn't want too many very different assembly
lines in its factories - this may (may) explain why the C-5000A venished very quickly.
According
to well informed sources, this is a masterpiece.
