Where the C-120 and M-120 were, the C-02 and M-02 became quite good sellers for those who couldn't reach for the C-05 and M-05 master combo.

The 120 and 02 units have btw a lot in common - heat-pipes, Duo-ß, size etc. Upgraded componentry makes the difference. Tacky slim-line looks, lil' push-buttons, square LEDs and gold aplenty - well, the color at any rate :)
Healthy gear just the same - the real down-sizing was yet to happen, under the full Alpine direction.
