Kenwood L-1000M
(1990 - 1995)

Part of Kenwood's penultimate high-end set, along the L-1000C preamp, L-1000T tuner and L-1000D CD player - unfortunately all quite bland looking and sloppily designed.

But the
L-1000M, behind its "melted ice-cream" façade, was technically superlative : fully symmetrical layout, two 270VA transformers, two 47,000µF caps (!), point-to-point wiring, anti-vibration composite materials etc.

Maybe the one Kenny combo to rediscover, besides the last and over-over-engineered L-1 series. It seems the L-1000 Series were export-only.
