Kenwood L-02A
(1982 - 1985)

Kenwood's masterpiece, becoming an instant hit in Japan (consumer AND reviewer-wise) and unfortunately remaining largely un-obtainable elsewhere.
A monster in every sense of the word, made to be mated with Kenwood's other masterpiece -the L-02T FM tuner- or Kenwood's other other masterpiece - the L-07D turntable. All in all... the pinnacle.

This extensive post was made possible thanks to Patrick Matucci, Kenwood enthusiast and owner of an L-02A. Thanks to Jason, too, for the literature used here which Jason originally uploaded on the Kenwood Yahoo discussion group. I also have the original japanese 1982 catalog but that will be for an update !
