Kenwood KA-907
(1979 - 1980+)

Extra-rare and last iteration of Kenwood's "monster" period.
There is much shared with the the
Supreme 600 from which the KA-907 took most of its layout - inside and outside. The 3-position/3-level loudness would be carried onto the slightly later L-08C preamp and the phono stage allows more settings but the rest is the culmination of Kenwood's 1970s engineering.

The KA-907 saw a limited edition with gold trims and knobs: 100 pieces, seemingly delivered only in Germany ; the accompanying KT-917 tuner also had its 100-pieces gold limited edition. The serial numbers for these 200 pieces are "regular" ones - only the looks and a specific numbered certificate identify them.
