RS-7900
The unproduced RS-7900 !
It featured in a single box what was one of the main battles around
EL: the indexing/programing feature.
The other proto was resembling this one but without the program
pad/keys which could, however, receive an external adaptor box performing
the same duty.
Neither units sported a model number (announced here and there so
they really are 7900s) and neither got finally produced.
As for the Teac, it is a real pity Technics discarded the looks
of the 7900 with it as it was quite obviously far more refined than
what became to the smaller RS-7500...
