Denon PMA-700Z
(1975 - 1977)

Professional gear, sold and marketed as such. Oh, well, not really: this was consumer stuff. But with a little help of the Nippon Columbia studios... Before churning out bombastic AV receivers, Denon was a pro brand and still is as well - this was healthy gear, made to function day-in, day-out with no problems whatsoever, ever.
The little modules below are the power packs of the 700Z - interchangeable on the fly and in less than 40 seconds in the case an original module would bust - very professional.

There was a PMA-700 (non "Z") in Japan as well but I have no idea about the differences between the two versions.

The large updates in this post were possibe thanks to Maurizio who kindly sent the original US lit' from Italy :) The top image, b/w power pack image and revised specs come from Maurizio's while the image just above and the color image of the power packs were sourced from my own german PMA-700Z/TU-500 '75/76 brochure.
