Denon DCD-3520
Denon DCD-3520GL

(1988 - 1992+)

Available in many versions, for a long time and a reference player still very much in demand today. Denon was then making its own drives (before switching to Sony OEMs for most of its lineups) and touted 20bit resolution through its Super Linear Converters.

Lambda D/A scheme (which you can see by clicking the more buttons below), XLR outputs, 8fs, dual-DACs & dual-mono layout, a doubled and copper-plated chassis, BMC base and twin transformers already amounted to a 20kg bolid. The worldwide 3520 and 3520EX are equivalent to the original japanese 3500 and 3500G.
